Ride 'em Cowboy!

Yippee ki yi ay! I've got my lasso swinging over my head right now, bent on catching all those words and ideas running around in the corral of my brain. Balancing on my trusty Silver (aka computer chair), arm extended, swish! caught one idea. Yep, if I'm really lucky, I'll get several with one swing.

You know what catching all these words and ideas mean? Yep, you guessed it. More work! Today, I've looked at and answered (some) almost 200 emails, as well as checking links posted therein. That was with just one swing of my trusty lasso.

Another quick flip, and I've got a few more things to add to my media kit.

Ah, oh! Watch out! A really big idea just came barging into the corral. I'm having to dodge other ideas here and there to catch that one. Swish, again. Shoot, didn't quite get it, but caught another few words with that grab. LOL. This is fun!

Here we go, one more try! Yep, got it this time. What's that huge idea? Well, you'll just have to keep reading the posts on my blog to find out. In the meantime, get your own lasso out, practice throwing the thing, and corral your own ideas and words.

You've piqued my interest as to what the big idea is. Hope it's a good one. Working away on state #3 so I don't have time to really lasso any big ideas or many ideas as it is. I need to concentrate on the immediate ones and state #3 is scheduled to come out in March so that is a priority.

Looking forward to more of your sharing with us. E :)

Hi Katie,
I'm from Texas and don't use a lasso when brainstorming LOL I do find one idea often begets another. Good luck with the rope tricks! I hope you snag a bundle of writing ideas.
