I opened an email from Lea Shizas today, and followed the link to her blog. Was I ever surprised! She had honored me with the One Lovely Blog Award and acknowledged my work as a writer. Isn't that cool? BTW, I tried to copy the award image, and I'm sure there is a rule somewhere on how to paste it to my site, but doggone if I know how.
Back to the award. There're three simple rules:
1) Accept the award, and don’t forget to post a link back to the awarding person.
2) Pass the award on.
3) Notify the award winners.
Probably the neatest thing is reading her accolades on why she chose me. So, I'm passing the award on to two other writers: Vivian Zabel and Elysbabeth Eldering.
Vivian Zabel has impressed me not only as a publisher, but also as a writer. She has so many things on her plate at one time, that I don't know how she juggles all of them. She is professional...and personable.
She has an unerring eye towards her goals, and works tirelessly on them. I find her to be a great role model.
I met Elysabeth Eldering through 4RV Publishing, and found out she lives in my state of South Carolina...and not too far away, either. Elysabeth has been so helpful in walking me through some of the particulars of publishing. She has graciously shared her wisdom with me, and is always "there" when I need more questions answered. She also has helped me put myself in the arena of promoting and marketing my book, Guardian.
There are others, of course, who have influenced my writing, but there really isn't enough room to acknowledge them all.

Thanks for the kind words, Katie. I can't see the image on your blog, to post this. When I get the image - I'll post and pass on - E :)
Katie,
Right click on the image on Lea's blog and save to your desktop. Then, on the toolbar at the top of your post, there's a little box and when you hover your mouse over it, says Insert Image or something of that sort. Click it, use the browse button to find where you've uploaded the image to your desktop, the upload. The "html" will always appear at the top of the post, but you can cut and paste to put it anywhere in your blog.

Thank you, Katie. I went back to Lea's blog and copied the award image.
Watch me grin. I'm in the process of writing my blog entry and choosing the recipients of the award.
